We use a selection of the top courier and delivery companies in the UK, such as Yodel, FEDEX & DPD to deliver our good to our customers. 99% of orders will be delivered within 2-5 days from ordering to purchase. Please allow longer for orders placed before the weekend. On the majority of orders customers will receive a tracking number so that orders can be tracked.
YOU MUST KEEP ALL PACKAGING. UNDER THE TERMS OF WARRANTY YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO RE-PACK ANY FAULTY ITEMS IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR RETURN.
When the delivering carrier brings your order you must count the pieces you receive & look for any damage. If there is damage as caused in transit, please note it on the carriers delivery note, the number of boxes you should receive. If the number of boxes you receive does not exactly match the number of pieces on the carriers delivery note, you MUST note the number of pieces you received on the delivery note by your signature.
Damage to the equipment / packaging MUST be noted on the delivery note next to your signature. THE WORDS UNEXAMINED OR UNCHECKED WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS A CONDITIONAL SIGNATURE. You must cross out 'delivered in good condition' from the carriers delivery note. It is very important to check your order. A signature is an acceptance that you have received the whole order in good condition. Any shortages or damages must be reported to us within 48 hours of signing. Neither ourselves nor the carrier can be held responsible for shortages or damages if you do not note them on your delivery note. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of the goods being faulty. All damage and shortage claims must be filed with the carrier; therefore we are subject to the Carriers terms and conditions. Damaged goods MUST be reported within 48 hours of receipt of goods, and up to 14 days from receipt at the very longest.

* Complaints *
We try very hard to provide high quality customer service but at the end of the day we are only human and we do make mistakes. We promise though that if we do, we will do our best to put them right.
We take complaints very seriously. If you wish to complain this must be registered within 48 hours of receipt of goods where the item or items is/are damaged or not working correctly, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. All complaints must be made via email. We cannot accept complaints over the phone, and will ask all customers calling to register a complaint to email us directly. By registering complaints via email there is a record of all communications between ourselves as the supplier and yourself as the consumer, thus working to prevent any miscommunication or misunderstanding.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days. We may ask you to send us photographic proof of damage, including but not limited to: scratches, moulding, cracks etc.
If complaints are escalated to our management team, we reserve the right to acknowledge and reply within 2 working days of the complaint being escalated to this level.
* Guarantee *
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of the goods without giving a reason. The 7 days starting the day after receipt of the goods. You must bear the costs of returning the goods to us.
Battery Operated Ride On's have a 3 month parts only warranty which excludes batteries and wheels. Should you experience any problems during this period we will do our utmost to ensure this is dealt with as quickly as possible with the least inconvenience to yourself. Labour and Transportation Costs are excluded from warranty, as are situations where products have been left outdoors in poor conditions such as but not limited to rain, snow, hail, or used in or on conditions not suitable for the item.
* Returns and Exchanges Policy *
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from us. If you are not satisfied with your new purchase, we will exchange or refund any unused item provided it is returned in a saleable condition, in its original, undamaged packaging, with your receipt and within 14 days from receipt of goods. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.
If a product has been accepted as being in good condition by the customer, but is then found to have a fault, our policy is to aim to repair the product via replacement parts being shipped directly to the customer unless this is not possible due to inherent structural faults.
Any refunds given will be made via the same method as payment received.
Damages during transit must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt, and within 14 days at the very most during busy periods. We cannot assume any item is a gift and as such cannot accept complaints made after this period in the event that the goods were not checked beforehand.
Please email before returning any item, and keep proof of postage.
Return delivery charge on all items including heavy goods will be at the cost of the buyer in events where items are unwanted or fall outside of the time period of reasonable time to check goods in cases of damage in transit. This also applies to items that have been bought to the the wrong specification as desired by the buye, where prior advice has not been sought from personnel employed by Toy Electric Car.
Once you assemble an item we are unable to claim against any damage in transit and no returns will be accepted.
We do advise all products are checked for damage upon receipt and within 48 hours of the goods being delivered, and 14 days from the goods being delivered (signed for) at the very most.
Please note all instruction manuals or videos for all products as sent on disc will be compatible with Windows operating systems XP onwards unless otherwise specified.
